This originally stems from the recent debacle of New Avengers lacking any females; and the misconception there are no uber-intelligent ladies in 616. So who do you think is the smartest woman in 616 Marvel? Do you feel she should be in the "Top Ten" smartest characters in Marvel? Should her status be official? Who do you think are the "Top Ten" smartest women (in order). This is a thread to praise woman in Marvel, and celebrate that there ARE many very clever ladies; who too often get overlooked/or seen as "not as smart as the men."

N.B. I have discounted Valeria Richards because, as Reed Richards says, it's all "theory" not fact. She has the capacity to be the smartest person on the planet; but she is not, as yet, smart enough to eclipse Reed. If that makes sense? Anyway... who do you think is the smartest woman in 616 Marvel.

Pym has admitted that Monica Rappaccini knows way more about biotoxins than himself. she's also smart enough to hold the scientist supreme title.

there's that former SHIELD tech who Norman recruited to give him Super-Adaptoid powers. her science was then utilized by Hydra to create a bunch of hulks, giant-men, etc.

I went with Sage..She has unlimited upgrades. The others maybe smarter but Sage can process information quicker than them all.

Alyssa Moy last I heard was dead. But even if she wasn't I think that Monica Rappaccini is the smartest female in the 616. It pisses me off that they don't use more female super scientists or mad ones like her. Monica especially has a great back story and plenty of connections (potentially Bruce Banner's baby mama from before he went Hulk) that she should be a bigger deal IMO.

Yeah we need feats. Objects created and foes crushed via the power of science.

Marvel has not built their females up in this way and even the few they do are not consistently used.
