Kabuto attacks a Tree Tailed Naruto, only to be knocked back by the roar, which does a good job of destroying the bridge around them in the process.

So they, naturally, left him alone in a cave without killing him, in a Genjutsu that he can eventually escape from.

Being completely fair, all those guys were kind of amoral when they weren't evil.

And Sasuke does not have a history of good decision making.

Okay, so going to add this bit to Base Naruto's profile.

Bro-Fist-Telepathy: Okay, so this starts with a comment Sasuke makes at the Valley of End, that first class ninja can read each other's hearts when the clash.

It seems like it is just a comment for the longest time, until Naruto and Sasuke manage to have a full mindscape talk in the middle of Rasengan-Chidori clash.

Then Bee and Naruto start doing it by fist bumping:

4. Sage Mode



Strength:

While still in training, he lifts a giant stone statue.

Naruto takes the Gamabunta sized Rhino's charge head on, grabbing him by the horn (so I guess this doubles as a durability feat), then throws him several hundred feet into the air:

Durability:

Naruto falls and lands violently on very sharp, pointy rocks. He's unharmed:

Other:

Double Rasengan: A.. double Rasengan... yeah.. An attack with a Rasengan in each hand.

Sage Art - Giant Rasengan: Like the name says a giant Rasengan.

Rasen Shuriken: In Sage Mode, Naruto somehow managed to turn Rasen Shuriken into a ranged attack.

He can also use Rasen Shuriken as a Kienzan type of attack:

Sensing: A side effect of attaining Sage Mode is that it allows Naruto to sense others' chakra as well.

The biggest show of this ability happen when upon turning to Sage Mode he is able to feel the war happening all over the country.

Frog Kata: While in Sage Mode Naruto's body is covered in Natural energy, which increases his reach for attack.

Basically, even if you dodge his body, that doesn't mean you dodged the energy around his body:

Natural Energy: In order to learn Sage Arts, Naruto had to master the art of drawing Natural energy and mixing it with his chakra. For that reason trying to absorb his energy can be, at times, dangerous.

One of the Pain's manages to absorb Naruto's chakra, but once he starts feeding him pure natural energy the Pain turns into a frog statue

Sage Mode Transformation: Okay, so it might seem silly to add this bit in a post about Sage mode, but there are some details that need to be said. Naruto turns into Sage Mode by gathering Natural energy. In order to do that he must be perfectly still, a skill that Naruto masters. However, doing so in the heat of the battle is not as easy.

That said, he has shown the ability to turn into Sage Mode rather quickly when needed.

The Toads




As mentioned previously Naruto can call upon the aid of the Toad Tribe with the use of Summoning. As explained by Jiraya, Summoning is a type of Space-Time Ninjutsu that allows a ninja to call upon the aid of a certain animal after having previously signed the Summoning Scroll of an specific tribe.

Summon show a lot of variation in shape and function from Giant Monster Snake to Tracking Dogs to Illusion Casting Clams (I am not kidding) and so on.

It should be noted a summon doesn't necessarily have to obey the summoner. They may ignore the summoner entirely or they may ask for something in return of their labor, like human sacrifices. Toads, thankfully, are nice and after one has earned their respect the most he can expect is being told he has to share a drink with the boss or being asked for candy by the younger ones.

And speaking of young ones, it is important to note that toads can vary greatly in Size. From little tadpoles to giants like Gamabunta.

The Home of the Toads is Mount Myoboku The mountain is quite far away from Konoha and can take a month to reach by foot. However, the process of getting there is greatly helped by Reverse Summoning, which proves the summoning contract goes both ways. Just as Naruto can summon Toads the Toads can summon Naruto.


Now, some of the more notable Toads in the manga:


The Scroll Holder Toad: Not much is known about this guy, other than being the one with the summoning contract. He is also the First Toad Summoning shown in the manga. Ebisu, a jounin, is easily taken care of by him:

Gamakichi and Gamanatsu: A pair of young brothers, that were accidentally summoned by Naruto in the early days of the manga (back when he hadn't quite gotten the hang of the jutsu just yet). Gamakichi is seen again after the time skip and he has grown quite a bi (He is the orange toad Naruto is standing on in the very first picture of this post)

Toad Shop: Seen only once when Jiraya infiltrated Rain Country. Toad Shop possesses a rather peculiar skill.

According to the databook, this weird transformation is a unique skill belonging to Toad Shop. Much like with Gamabunta's Combination Henge (seen below), the summoner can pick out the shape in which Toad Shop transforms, suggesting it may be an advanced form of it.

Gamaken

The Clumsy Toad. A rather modest Toad that has a tendency to apologize for his clumsiness. Despite that, Ken is anything but clumsy, as shown by his rather high speed fight with the multiheaded dog Pain uses:

Ken carries with his what seems to be a gigantic sake cup he uses as a shield. This piece of equipment is quite durable as shown when he uses it to successfully protect himself against the ramming attack of a giant bird summon.

Gamahiro

The Dual Sword-Wielding Toad. Not much has been seen of him, but he fights rather well against Pain's summon in the battle in Konoha.

He also shows great durability when he survives a Shinra Tensei from Pain that literally throws him out of the city (granted that took him out of the fight):

Gamabunta

The leader of the Toads. Grumpy, proud, and protective of those he cares about. Even Jiraya has trouble controlling him.

Ninjutsu: Despite being being a giant toad, Gamabunta has knowledge of the art.

Water Release - Gunshot: After leaping out of the way of Shukaku's Renkuudan (which probably doubles as a speed/agility feat), Bunta shoots giant orbs of water, each of these negating one of Shukaku's Renkuudan:

Oil Cannon: Certain Toads are able to shoot oil. Gamabunta is one of them, and when this is combined with a summoner capable of using fire attacks, results are impressive to say the least:

Combo Henge: Gamabunta is no good at Henge. However with the aid of a Summoner, he can supply the chakra in order for someone else to do the transformation for him. With Naruto's help, he turns into a giant fox:

Durability:

He takes one of Shukaku's Renkuudan and while it hurts him he manages to keep on fighting:

As shown above, he also takes Pain's Shinra Tensei. He is later seen with bandages and saying he has some broken bones from the attack.

Equipment:

Tanto: He carries around one of these. Size appropriate obviously.

He manages to cut one of Shukaku's arms with the blade, but Shukaku's skin is so durable he loses his grip on the blade:

Ma and Pa

An old married couple. Despite their age, Ma and Pa posses a lot of power. In fact, the old toads are some of the few qualified to pas on the Sage Techniques.

Tongue: Ma's tongue, on top of being able to track enemies, has quite a long reach when it comes to capturing foes:

Pressurized Water: A jutsu used by Fusagaku. He shoots a powerful stream of pressurized water able to cut steel and even giant summons:

Hermit's Art - Deep Fryer: Used by both of them with Jiraya. With this technique the user shoots out a wave of boiling hot oil from his or her mouth at the enemy.

Toad Song: A high level genjutsu. This technique is transmitted through sound. Once used, it paralyses the victim rendering him helpless. A downside is that it requires for Ma and Pa to harmonize their voices, which takes a quite a bit of time. That and Ma thinks she's too old to sing.

Sage Mode: Just like Naruto, Ma and Pa can take in Natural energy to create Sage Chakra. Fusagaku shows this when he lifts a giant stone statue despite his small size:

Elder Toad:The oldest and most respected of the Toads. Forgetful and even slightly senile. He does have the ability to see the future.

Not much of a battle guy though.
