May be a question of how old you are . . . they were big back in the late 1970's into maybe the early 1980's.
Here are a few sites that show a bunch of them:

Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
What, nobody else is going to play guess the artist?

He did do a lot of them, but not all.

Okay. Well, I know I'm not that well versed in the classics to see who drew what.

I did some research and it seems I was right about Giordano doing the Mummy, which was the very first Hostess ad. The remainder of the DC ads were all done by Curt Swan (with the exception of a single Green Lantern ad by Neal Adams).
The only one that fooled me was Topsy-Turvey Man, which I didn't think looked like Swan. He did have various inkers on these, however, so I'm guessing this is one where the inker somewhat obscured the look. Or maybe it's just because the thing is upside down.
Curiously, the Hostess ads at Marvel and other publishers used a wide variety of artists.

So...I win?
It was 1991 at the latest, but I remember bidding on the Joker, Batgirl and some of the Batman pieces.
I was talking about them once when someone told me who inked it. Like just right off the top of his head. Alas, that was also around 1992.

I had no idea who the artist was. To me some of them looked like Aparo, however his signature backgrounds were missing so i was at a loss.
Curt Swan's style is pretty easy to distinguish, once you're familiar with his work.
For the newer and/or younger fans on this forum, Swan was well known for many, many years as "THE" Superman artist. He also had multiple runs as the main artist on the original World's Finest title, in which he drew Superman and Batman together.
