I voted Bruce, simply because Bruce is the Alpha. Everyone else was only Batman simply because Bruce either couldn't or wouldn't.

If you had been ultra specific and done Gold, Silver, Bronze and Modern Bruce Wayne as well, I would have put Bronze age. that late 70s early 80s Bruce Wayne is my favorite characterisation. I didn't "hate" the post Zero hour Batman but definitely like the Bronze Age Bruce/Batman better.

Back in the mid-90s when I knew Dick Grayson was only temporarially Batman in Prodigal, I actually enjoyed it.

Leaving Bruce out definitely would've made this a bit more interesting, but after him Dick is hands down my favorite Bats. Big a fan of JPV as I am, I really didn't dig AzBats beyond the visual and prefer him as Azrael than Batman any day. I suppose Tim & Jason could've been included on the list as well since they both had brief turns under the cowl, though I doubt it'd make much difference in the results because Bruce is crushing everyone as expected :)

Dick dressing as Bruce doesn't mean he was Batman, it just means that he was wearing Bruce's clothes, trying his best to make him proud.

People keep confusing liking Dick as a character, and him having succesfull, fun and engaging stories with him replacing Bruce, to Dick being a good Batman.

Dick is a great character. But that character is not 'Batman'. This question is like asking if Dick is a good Bruce. Or a better Bruce than Bruce.

The correct question should have been "Who do you like better, Bruce Wayne or Dick Grayson?"

Gotta go with Bruce. Dick was great, even in Prodigal and i could see him taking over the mantle in times of need. However Bruce is Batman and IMO no one could ever replace him for long.
