    It just seems so....dumb.

    Stan Lee said the success was not Spider-Man's super powers, but it was really the man behind the mask that makes the whole thing work

    There is a reason Dr. Ock doesn't have his own monthly comic. because not enough people will buy it. So why is it different because Doc Ock cosplays as Spider-man?

    not many care about the character of Ock other than as a villain.

    It's like Dan forgot the key factor to the comic is not the masked "menace" Spider-man...But Peter Parker.

    I don't doubt Dan's Spidey-fandom. I'd have more interest in this story if 1) Peter Parker went out on a good note(I don't think he could have went out WORSE than he did), and 2) the last year of ASM wasn't so mediocre("No Turning Back" aside)

    But I guess we'll see what they got planned. At least give the first story arc a try, right?
