If you look closely all the ships have a bank of 3 exhaust jets on the side, and every single one of them is shaded at a different angle.

    You can't trace talent.

I wonder whether Land photoshopped the stock space background in there himself or made the colorist do it

Now that you mention it...what is going on with that jet/ship second from the top right. It looks like the nose was sheered right off.

almost every review or comment i have read complains about Lands art. I thought Marvel listened?

You can tell he has taken the same "exhaust", rotated it, changed the shading slightly and then pasted it onto a different "ship". that is not talent. And i highly doubt he drew the original either.

He had to take the nose off, otherwise people would have noticed an F-15 in space

Or they'd think Starscream was back to the 80's and after Tony.

(Seriously that way my first thought.)

I was referring to the armor itself. i started reading ironman around the time of ironboy, ive seen worse. i dropped this book after issue 2 and will pick it up again after land leaves, his books always end up looking like glorified cologne ads.

It's a shame that one of Marvel's best and most prominent super heroes has gotten such a sh*tty relaunch. But in all fairness, Iron Man's book has been pretty bad for at least the last 3 years. I finally decided it was time to drop Iron Man, and I don't regret it at all looking at that preview.

So this is basically just a big teaser for GOTG
I'm so bored with this martyrdom routine, this halo all you X-men love to polish. Self-described soldiers adorned in an "X" with no dedication to what it actually stands for.

Bought the first 3 issues hoping the next arc would have a decent artist. Disappointment reigns.
