The first time she was phoenix, phoenix made a new body and sent her to the bottom of the ocean. The avengers end up finding her and bla bla x factor there ya go.
So why don't they just have Wolverine and Captain America's brotherhood freedom force thing go find her on the bottom of the ocean somewhere? Why would the Phoenix make a new body for her the first time, but not the second?
I hope something like this happens, because otherwise that means that when wanda "killed" the phoenix she also killed Jean Grey.

According to Morrison the Phoenix was supposed to lay an egg with Jean in it on the moon sometime in the next 150 years. But since Jean pushed Scott maybe that doesn't happen anymore.
