I've just wrapped a read of Bendis Avengers from Disassembled to present, and I would posit that it's impossible to judge his work on anything in less than 6-8 issues. He can (and frequently does) write a single entertaining issue of umming and awing over a decision that in the longer run winds up defining a terrible and circular plot device.

PS: And, in this case, I think we need to see the direction of UXMv3 before we really know the shape of things.
