I know this is kinda off subject, but I could never GET Colon's style. Had Damage Control back in the day as well as Arak (and probably a few others), but could never bring myself to like his work. And now I see hes doing Richie Rich, to paraphrase Cei-U... I summon the WTF

Weird, dimension-crossing Colon, like Amethyst, I enjoy; pedestrian/humorous Colon, like Damage Control, I don't. Ernie Colon was capable, on a good day, of channeling Alex Nino.

Indeed, Colon, if not Warren Kremer, is usually consider the quintessential Richie Rich artist.

I've also decided to pick up the Bat Lash series if I can. I have Bat's original Showcase appearance, and this year's challenge has persuaded me to pick up the series. I managed to buy two issues yesterday.

I was looking at the Batlash books on ebay and they are pretty pricey. Seems most are 8 bucks and up. Any reprints anywhere?

There was a Showcase Presents volume put out in 2009, but not sure how readily available it is now.

Just ordered Tarzan/Predator: At Earth's Core just because it's written by (my comics hero) Walt Simonson with art by the tremendously underrated Lee Weeks. I like Tarzan, could care less about the Predators, but seriously, SIMONSON/WEEKS, how do you get better?

Simonson is kinda hit or miss for me on writing, but I'm totally agreeing with Weeks being underrated.

Yes, I remember tremendously enjoying that Tarzan/Predator series.
