Just what the freak is wrong with telling stories about Peter Parker/ mind body and soul? Slott I liked the current status quo, save for the fact you didn't feature Cardiac in it much.

So this is how Amazing Spiderman ends, with Doc Ock becoming the Superior Spiderman? I thought the DC messed with the Titans this is just wrong and I hope Marvel realizes it's mistake before it's too late. This is just too stupid to believe but I still don't want Dan Slott hurt in any shape or form man I am so peeved and disappointed in Marvel how can they wreck Spidey like that? I'd like to know what genius thought of this crapola?

Meh. I just read the USA Today article. This won't stick obviously. Could be interesting for the next six months or so, but I don't read Spider-man now and not planning to after the relaunch either. I do think it could be kind of fun watching him interact with the Avengers, though. Once Amazing Spider-man 2 comes out next year, however, we'll be back to the old status quo.

You know, I will say that with someone else now running around in Peter Parker's body (someone who is not very likable at that), and with Kaine over in Scarlet Spider also being not such a nice guy...would it not be the perfect time to introduce 616 Miles Morales and have a younger, likable minority version of the wall-crawler running around in the real Marvel Universe?

Just a thought, but I wouldn't mind seeing it happen. And would be more prone to read his title than Superior Spidey. And, as an added bonus, bringing in a 616 version of Miles would allow them to go ahead and put the Ultimate line out of its misery. Since all of the best concepts from Ultimate Marvel have already been exported to the 616 other than Miles.
