Default 80's-90's Cartoons that should be revisited as comics

With DC publishing new He-man comics this year and Dynamite doing Voltron, IDW's successful run on TF, GIJOE, they also produce TMNT, Ghostbusters and My little Pony. So what other cartoons from the 80's-90's would you like seeing revisited as comics?
I would like to see new comics based on these shows:
    Pirates of Dark Water

    Galaxy Rangers

    Brave Starr
New Avengers*Unity* Shadowman* RAI* TRANSFORMERS* MILES MORALES

And if they could do it with the kids being even remotely likable, that would be awesome.
Always remember this stuff isn't real.

Absolutely! There was so much room for depth and complexity in this series.

    I would also add:

    Centurions
Defenders of Earth (fingers crossed this will actually happen)
ThunderCats (Original or continuing the 2012 series that was unceremoniously cancelled)
    SilverHawks
    MASK
Exosquad (a personal favorite...would make a great scifi war epic)
VALIANT, Saga, Chew, Manhattan Projects, Revival, East of West, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.

I'd definitely check out comics for MASK, Bionic Six and ExoSquad. (I remember an ES comic by Topps, I believe, but I think it might have just been a mini-series.)
PULL LIST: Ghostbusters, John Carpenter's Asylum, Magnus: Robot Fighter, The Shadow, Star Wars, Thief of Thieves, Velvet, Wild Blue Yonder

    Starcom

To be honest altough I liked a lot of these as a kid (Inhumanoids, Visionaries) I doubt I would follow any comic revivals of the properties for a long time. Transformers was my absolute favourite cartoon, yet I only followed the first and second mini series.

Mighty Max, but hilariously hard boiled and dark as hell. Also Mighty Max is now 30, and jaded, ha or something. Something awesome like that. If an old cartoon was brought back, I'd like to see a new spin on it.

That said, I love IDW's G.I. Joe comics, though one of the three series does take the mega hard boiled dark noir route, which I do love. But they all rock. And granted, not technically based on a cartoon, what with Hama's 80s comics.

IDW can do it, they can cross over with Transformers.

I'll add Tigersharks and Street Sharks to that list. Does Beast Wars count since it was CGI?

Yeah a new Beast Wars comic would be nice.
Also IDW can we get a GIJOE/COPS crossover.

One property I'm very surprised to see not being revisited at all (whether in comic or anything) is Captain Planet. Environmentalism is as big now, if not maybe even bigger, than it was when the show first came out. Maybe because it was more preachy than some other stuff, I don't know. Would be very interesting to see how that would get reinterpreted for a modern audience.

I wouldn't even know what I'd do or how to describe it if I saw Bulletproof and Snake Eyes together :big grin:
