I saw the light house episode which I loved because 1) Im a sucker for super natural things 2) It seemed like a creative situation to put Supreman, especially since it started with Jimmy Olson.

And my, where there friggen twists everywhere. The Grandmother turned out not to be the grandmother, neither was the son, and the real grandmother was the most badass old lady holding up her kidnappper with a gun and she actualy had some pretty awesome and funny lines. THEN as if that wasnt enough the person "drowning" was a parrot! I friggen LOVED it! Was very exciting to watch, I really expected it to have 1-2 story thing, but things were a little more creative back then.

Though that would explain why we don't see her when he's in Smallville, we don't get confirmation that she's dead until IV.

5th car? Jeez, he was the Jay Leno of his day.

I'm almost through Season One and it's a blast. I forgot the show is basically a mystery/procedural, will Superman get there/find out in time?

This is totally my favorite version of the character who wages a never ending battle for truth and justice either as Clark Kent or as Superman, both are just means to and end and all that matters is the battle. Clark doesn't even try to make up excuses, he's so sarcastic nobody takes him seriously. He bosses around Lois all the time cause she's a woman and it's the 50's but the best part is twice now he's covered up his secret identity by knocking people the f**k out as Clark Kent before he changes.

First he sucker punches a pilot so he won't see him change and leave the plane, then in another episode he runs up and coldcocks Jimmy before the bad guy can expose Clark's secret.

I got choked up the first time Reeves winks at us at the end of an episode, his Kent with swagger is so much better than Clown Kent from the Silver Age. I hope MoS is more Reeves than Reeve, only time will tell.

No, we had confirmation in the third film. Lana says she hadn't seen Clark since Martha's funeral, a couple of years ago.

That was one of those things you're not supposed to notice. The reality being that they were just promoting that year's model car, which probably helped in the long term for each season.

Fantastic show. I like how George Reeves portrayed the character.

Huh. I didn't remember that. Still, as long as she was mercifully killed off by 4. Better dead than in 4.
