Default Things I'd like to see happen with the Hulk's personalities

What I'd like to see is this: Three of them split off into their own bodies separate from Banner, bodies that would make them as they would be if they each took over over Banners body as usual, the difference here is that while as powerful as they would be if they were still apart of Banner, and having the same abilities they normally would, they wouldn't turn into anything anymore, they'd just be themselves.

Those three personalities are: The Guilt Hulk, the Devil Hulk, and the Grey Hulk. I know Brian Banner's right now a mix between the Guilt Hulk and the Devil Hulk, but I'd like to see the actual ones running around casing mayhem, with Banner having to deal with them himself, personally. The Grey Hulk would be the Grey Hulk, the one of the three I wish was out on his own the most, he's enough personality to be his own character.

That'd be interesting but very hard and complex.

The Guilt Hulk is the least important, but still too good not to consider letting loose, the Devil Hulk on the other hand, is the perfect nemesis for Banner/The Hulk.

Grey Hulk, sure. The rest is overkill.

Wasn't that done in Jason Aaron's run on Hulk? Banner and Hulk got split into two different people and Banner was evil? I hadn't read it, I don't it was popular? Its basically saying, "I hate a part of myself."

The one I want is for Banner to still be himself, while still being able to transform into the hulk, but with three other Hulk's running around, two of them clearly evil.

Honestly I'd like to see one of the early silver age ideas from a few issues. He has his Banner intellect but the power and rage starts to overpower it. I just think that concept has such room for exploration.

I'm not interested in the physical split idea. It was exlored to some degree in some run I read. Where Loki had the beast Hulk under his control.

The two Hulk's that I felt "mattered": the classic savage green Hulk and the grey/Mr. Fixit Hulk are the ones I'd like to see back on a permanent basis. I'd keep it simple--if Banner gets angry, he turns into the green Hulk, and at night, the grey Hulk. There are so many story possibilities possible for this simple premise that the mind boggles!

All those other "Hulks" were mostly a lot of nonsense. I do have some fondness for Peter David's Professor Hulk persona, but I'm starting to wonder if my fondness has more to do with the superb art works of Dale Keown and Gary Frank over any real love for that particular incarnation.

^Paul Jenkins sort of had a similar idea, where Banner could transform into the different incarnations of the Hulk depending on the situation. The 'revolving Hulk' concept also was sort of used in Loeb's Vegas storyline, where he became both "Joe Fixit" and savage; as well as the Order miniseries (Where the Defenders tried to take over the world) and also in those Avengers issues where a whole town was turned into Hulks.

I've heard Waid might be doing something like that, although for now it seems we have a mindless or savage Hulk.

I think the Devil Hulk appeared in the Hulk video games.

While I want the Hulk's to split, to me the Professor Hulk was the best Hulk period.

I'd just have the various Hulks appear depending on what is going on with Banner emotionally.

If Banner gets scared, he turns into classic "dumb Hulk". If he gets mad, you get Green Scar/Joe Fixit/Mean Hulk.

Banner would have to concentrate to bring out Professor Hulk. If his concentration gets broken for any reason, he gets one of the other two.

Why wouldn't Banner just stay as the Professor Hulk all the time? The Professor was kind of an egotistical D-bag. You could see Banner not wanting to be that guy unless he had to (and of course that Hulk is the most in tune with Banner's needs).
