I was wondering what titles anyone could suggest from this line of books. Thanks!![]()

Freex, The Phoenix Resurrection Revelations, Mantra, Rune, Prime
I loved Prime. A little boy with the ability to transform into a steroid freak superhero.
Ultraforce is the ultraverse answer to the avengers where some of the big solo heroes come together as a group - Hardcase , Prime & Prototype.
And of course , they soon tied in with the avengers when Black Knight crossover from the marvel 616 universe and joined them for a while which eventually led to Ultraforce/avengers.

I would suggest staying away from the Phoenix stuff. Exiles was the only good Marvel-related Malibu book.
The Strangers
Nightman
Mantra
Ultraforce
Freex
Rune

To me Firearm was their best series. I think you should definitely pick those up.
"That's not just "one man"! That's TONY FREAKING STARK. You're intel should've warned us that he was James Bond and "Q" wrapped in the same guy!" Cobra
I liked Prototype, Mantra, Solitaire and Night Man the best.
In search of Claire...or Libby Hoeler :D
"What is illness to the body of a knight-errant? What matter wounds? For each time he falls, he shall rise again, and woe to the wicked.
"
James Robinson's Firearm was the best of the line for my money. Sludge was pretty good, too.
Is Men In Black available still? Is it any good?
heh. Another Malibu thread.. well so far no one's brought up bringing the problems with bringing the characters back.. we'll see how long it lasts..
James Robinson's Firearm was very good. Barry Windsor-Smith's Rune was also good. There was a 4 issue mini with art by George Perez called the Godwheel, that had links to Marvel's Thor that was interesting as well. It also featured my favortie Ultraverse villain in Lord Pumpkin. Steve Englhart's Strangers and Nightman were solid. Someone mentioned Sludge, which had its moments as well
Ultraforce had ups and downs. The Warren Ellis/George Perez issues were interesting, the rest, not so much.
Hardcase, Prototype, Prime (despite good art from Norm Breyfogle), Mantra (again nice Dodson art but not much else) and the rest didn't do much for me though, but your tastes will vary. The Black September stuff and the Marvel cross-over stuff beyond Godwheel and Ultraforce was dreadful imho.

Ultraverse's Firearm was really good. I second that.
As for Malibu itself Protectors is one of the best team books hardly anyone ever read. I highly recommend it. The Ferret was also a very good book.
Strangers, Rune, UltraForce, Firearm and Nightman were my favorites from Ultraverse.
From Malibu, Ex Mutants, Protectors and Adventurers.
Will Marvel ever get the Robinson magic treatment ?
I remember liking the original Exiles series. The one featuring Ultraforce's Ghoul, before it became the mutant/dimension hopping book it became in later years.
Captain Universe is not Monica Rambeau. Monica Rambeau is not in Avengers.
