Best Mr. Freeze Stories?

Two-Face got a pretty fleshed out origin in TAS :-P

They'd done enough with him prior to the Animated Series. Even outside of actual comic books, Messner-Loebs and Infantino had fleshed out his origin already in the newspaper strip. And right from Two-Face's first Golden Age appearance, he at least HAD an origin. Freeze had nothing. He was just a stock bad guy with a gimmick.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I really liked the recent New 52 Batman Annual story. It served as a good (re)introduction for Mr Freeze. Some don't like it because they thought it made the character too 'grimdark', but I I liked it because it made Freeze into more of an obviously dangerous bad guy, while still keeping an element of tragedy to his backstory.

I am with you with the Batman annual. They took some of the sympathy and add a new level of creepy to Freeze. Then again my favorite Riddler story is from Denny O'Neil's The Question.
