How many of us have painful memories of a heart break or a parent's murder? In the DC world, a guy could go up to Zatanna and pay her a lot of money to wipe away his memories of a horrible past. Heck, I would pay her to help me if she was real.
Yes, I'm aware memories could be restored, but didn't that happened with villains?

Well Zatanna chose to be a stage performer and make a lot of money that way. Also, if I am not mistaken, Zatanna became increasingly uncomfortable with wiping people's minds.

Most of them. I believe that was the rationale for the Elongated Man and Zatanna not to join the league until the 70s. Both celebrities who cash on their powers (and have with no secret identities). Originally Posted by carabas
