Default Finally read Death of Spiderman and Fallout...

    Heavy stuff!

I feel like I missed something with Spidey being shot on the bridge? Was that part of a crossover or something?

Otherwise it was a really good book. Very emotional. Aunt Mays pretty badazz for unloading her gun into Electro's chest. Mj running Osborn down with a truck was pretty sweet too, can tell she was freaking. It was a pretty messed up situation. I like the realism of how a kid with superpowers probably would actually end up irl.

Didn't much care for all the unrelated parts of fallout. Seeing IronMan join the Bilderbergers and Nick Fury get his budget cut didn't seem all that relevant. It was pretty intense seeing the "Are you spidey's mommy scene" and Aunt May slap Cap. I thought Tony Stark came across extra humanized. Interesting that Gwen and May fled to France, kinda dickish they didn't tell MJ tho.

I like this in that it's something we will never see in the regular comics. That Spidey will never die for good, the only way he will disappear is if the comics ever stop getting published. Still have to pick up the Prelude, Chameleon and whatever the first tpb is called. Then its on to black spiderman!

Yeah the part where Peter was shot on the bridge ties into the crossover with Ultimate Avenges vs. New Ultimates.

Really? I thought the way Pete died was terrible. He gets shot in a cross over event which if you are only reading USM you know nothing about, and the main plot line is Osborn breaking out of jail THE EXACT SAME WAY he did previously and pretty much doing the exact same thing only deciding to go after Pete first. Very lame.

I like Miles. I think there could be room for both of them, but Peter shouldn't have been killed off in the first place, especially in such a stupid way.

I agree. Plus, I feel that there were so many more interesting stories to tell with Kitty Pryde on the run, the three super powered teens under one roof, and with the new character that got introduced. I swear that the new girl and Peter were gonna date until Marvel told Bendis to kill Ultimate Peter. (I wanted him to end up with MJ anyway though)

I also do like Miles but I don't feel Peter needed to die.

No, Peter gets shot on the bridge in DoSM. You only need to read UAvsNU if you want to know why Punisher shot at Cap. Other than that, Peter's death is fully explained.

I assumed dead is dead. But might there be an opportunity for return after miles gets settled? Pete would make a good Yoda.

It could be, but currently on multiple occasions Marvel has said they are going to leave Peter dead.

They could always change their mind. (Personally I hope they don't)

There's already a Yoda in place.

Jessica. Which sort of counts as Peter.

What do you think Marvel Editorial has against Jessica? Why don't they freaking use her already!!
    1) Find a bad guy
    2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!
