That might be possible. The only thing I remember from either of those was the Madman/Powers/Evil John Byrne thing. I don't think I've read 'em since they came out.

    Day 10: From Hell

It's hard to choose, but I often think this might just be Moore's single best work. Eddie Campbell's artwork complements Moore's story perfectly .

*sigh* Every now & then I check to see if affordable (i.e. dirt-cheap or close to it) copies of From Hell are available. I'm still looking.
I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."

From Hell is one of those books that just doesn't ever sell for cheap, much less dirt-cheap.

Probably better off biting the bullet and going for the TPB--I bet it's less than $25 on Amazon.

Actually, the tpb is what I was talking about, as far as never showing up cheaply enough for my parsimonious purse.

I meant the trade as well. It's expensive to begin with...and I don't see it discounted that much.

I've seen it pop up a few times at Half-Price Books at (well obviously) half-off cover. However, HPB is always a matter of timing and luck whether you find something in particular that you are looking for. Good if just browsing for something that catches your interest, iffy if trying to find something in particular, especially later volumes in TPB series as you get slots of vol. 1 and 2 form people who try series, don't continue and sell off the volumes, but rarely deep runs of trade series (the rare exception is checking out the one located next to Ohio State right around the end of each semester .

I've got a HPB a half mile from me and come out every few months with a decent stack. They're good.

Totally agreed, and your choice makes me douby happy to have chosen From Hell over other Moore works. The notes at the end of each issue were fascinating reading, too!

    Hey Dan.
I tried to PM you but you've exceeded your limit. PM me back. I have a From Hell trade if you're interested.

    Done.

As for the filled-up PM box, I'm going to step right up & say in public that Cei-U! simply must stop sending me countless paeans of praise every single day.

It's start to get a little, well, creepy.

Dan, you're beloved by the peasants...or the peasants want to behead you... I get it confused.
