A Bat-Female Timeline?

It's Friday night and I have nothing better to do (yay!) so I was thinking of a timeline for the bat-women in the DCnU that would make everyone happy, or at least not so mad. My point of reference is a few months after Nightwing #0 which is the debut of of Dick Grayson as Robin some 4 and a half years ago, so here it goes:

A few months after Robin (Dick Grayson) first appears, 4 1/2 years ago:

• Kathy Kane debuts as the first Batwoman (to validate Grant Morrison's Batman Inc. stories)
• Bette Kane helps Batwoman as Bat-Girl in very few adventures
• Batwoman dies and Bat-Girl quits to become a tennis player

4 years ago:

• Barbara Gordon becomes the first Batgirl

3 years ago:

• Batgirl quits after a-yet-unrevealed incident
• Months later Barbara is shot and paralyzed by the Joker
• After Dick Grayson becomes Nightwing, Bette Kane returns, now as Flamebird

2 and a half years ago (or around the time Tim Drake becomes Red Robin):

• Barbara Gordon operates as Oracle
• Stephanie Brown debuts as Spoiler
• A mysterious new Batgirl appears in town

2 years ago:

• Cassandra Cain is revealed as the Silent Batgirl
• Batman forces her to drop the Batgirl identity
• Kate Kane finishes her training and becomes Batwoman
• Stephanie Brown (is allowed to) become Batgirl

1 year ago:

• Barbara Gordon walks again and begins therapy
• Cassandra Cain becomes Black Bat and is sent to Hong Kong
• Stephanie Brown returns the Batgirl mantle to Barbara Gordon
• Stephanie Brown is Spoiler again and is sent to St. Hadrian's

A few months ago:

• Bette Kane discovers that Kate Kane is Batwoman
• Barbara Gordon returns as Batgirl
• Bette Kane becomes Plebe

Any adjustments/corrections you may think of to make everyone happy?

Your entire post is out of date. It refers to a continuity and timeline that no longer exists. Just picking one of a few big errors, in the current continuity Barbara has never been Oracle, only Batgirl.

If you're talking New 52 world, we also don't know if Cassandra Cain or Stephanie Brown even exist, let alone whether they'll ever play a part in the Bat-family.

As a suggestion of a way to try to treat the batgirl legacy with a respect similar to that of the Robins it works. It fails to mention Brown in an albeit brief stint as Robin. Also there has been no indication thus far in the new universe that Cass or Steph or Oracle have ever existed. However, to this point at least, it seems that Ms. Simone has tried to leave that door open ever so slightly by not completely ruling out the possibility. Could the recent back and forth between Simone and DC have been over this history? I doubt it but it is always fun to muse about it. This would potentially open the door for a Shades of Knight book about all the batgirls.
