It'll be interesting to see Otto experiencing Peter's feelings for Gwen when encountering Norman.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

I'm thinking that not only Norman Osborn would figure out that Doc Ock is the Superior Spider-Man, he'd also want to kill him because not only because Norman believes Spider-Man was his to kill, but that Doc Ock is actually disrespecting Spider-Man's memory by pretending to be him, since Spider-Man for Norman was like the son he always wished he had. He may even tell SpOck "Face it, Otto: you're more pathetic now than you ever were."

There's a lot about this series I've misjudged. I'd love to see a Normon / Otto face off. I think it could be written superbly! Count me in.
All New Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man, Avenging Spider-Man
Oh, I agree that it's not as it once was (unfortunately). But Norman's obsessive-fixation on Spider-Man had remained intact and he still regards him as a worthy adversary. Also, just the fact that the Superior would rely on more aggressive tactics and no quips would easily clue Norman in that this Spider-Man is "an imposter" I think.

I'm interested in seeing Ock's take on the Spider/Goblin feud, in general. He'd probably be critical of Pete not just snapping Norman's neck.
