    It's... pretty interesting, I guess?

    probably nothing.

It is interesting to see whoever is making the new talent acquisitions to see the hiring shift from the 90s Marvel friends of Harras in the early New 52 to the bigger pull of indie creators we've seen in recent months.
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

Except he hasn't really failed at DC.

He messed up bad at Marvel, but hasn't done anything bad for DC yet. The only questionable things that he did was bring in some people from old Marvel. Some of is was bad, but some of it was good. He clearly knows better then he did at Marvel.
You guys need to get over it. People learn and grow -- it is human nature.
No more bashing please. It really is undeserved and unwanted.

I think the hiring shift was due to better planning in the new52. They hired a bunch of old hands early on because those guys knew the work-for-hire rules. The new52 was thrown together to soon. The indy writers balked at the editorial madness at the beginning of new52. It's probably more fluid now (either that or indy talent want a paycheck and will not chafe under editorial edicts)

Well, whatever the case may be, I'm definitely digging it.

Although I hope they don't go too crazy with the indie hiring. I'd still like to see Milligan, Azz, Johns, Palmiotti & Gray, Lobdell, etc still have jobs at DC!
