Thanos with prep time vs Odin

fight 1: A month of prep.

Fight 2: five months of prep.

fight 3: one year of prep.

Fight 4: Three years of prep.

Figth 5: Five years of prep.

Ehhh. With only his own resources and capacity for said prep, that's just too big a mountain to climb. I mean sure, at the upper ends of that prep, you'd end up with Thanos clone armies, weapons of star destroying potency, mental/spiritual/molecular attacks going off, reality being deformed, so on and so forth, buuut, at the end of it, really, I have a hard time picturing anything as the smoke clears of Odin just standing there, going "lol no" making a "son I am dissapoint" face or insert whatever meme you prefer here.

In a scenario, sure.


But "prep" is only "time to prepare, using only your own resources", it doesn't allow for things like sabotaging your opponent.

So Thanos prepares, appears in the arena and then gets beaten down.

My poison comment indicate that Thanos could research some Asgardian compatible chemical weapon and at the bell unleash it. There were subtle things that Odin was vulnerable too. Maybe he could through him a special Twinkie or ask him to toast with some special Titan Mead at the start of the bout and ARRRGGGHH!
