Also, can someone please explain to me how water can now kill people with healing factors? Honestly, I didn't know this fact, and am wondering if this has ever been shown before or was just taken out of thin air so that a plot point could be reached?

The idea is that the only way to kill someone with a healing factor is to deprive the brain of oxygen (e.g. drowning and beheading). If the brain fails to receive within 12 minutes, they will die, regardless of healing factor capabilities. Beheading a character with a HF is supposed to yield the same results --- fail to reattach the head to the body within 12 minutes, that person will die . . . . supposedly.

I think the problem is that this rule is not adhered to by every writer. It's very inconsistent.

So are the Apocalypse Twins the spawn of Archangel? I got that from the part where he said they were supposed to be his final arc on Uncanny X-Force.

It can be explained by Iceman not really wanting to kill Nightcrawler.

If that's the case, he could have frozen Nightcrawler and made another escape.
