DC Promotes Harras To SVP
Bad news at the end of the year.
This is it.
I think that DC Comics fans are officially f#%ucked.
And again DC takes one step forward, two steps back....
Howard Mackie and Scott Lobdell say a silent thank you to Bongo the comicbook god of everything bad about the 90's.
Nobody here has any real idea what Harras is doing behind the scenes either here or when he worked at Marvel, so to complain about his promotion is really just ignorant fanboy whining.

On the other hand, it's been decades since Chris Claremont wrote something readable. And he's never really shown any editorial skills at all (then again, neither has Harras).
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
Mark Waid told a story when he was working for Marvel in the 1990s, he was talking with then-EIC Bob Harras, and Harras told him, "We see writer-driven comics as an experiment that's failed." And Mark Waid thought, "Hmmm, that must be news to STAN LEE!"
And this is the man who is now editor-in-chief of DC Comics.
