Unfortunately, "Best Superman Comics" is starting to sound like an oxymoron these days.

Aside from the George Pérez run on Superman (which didn't end on a good note) and Supergirl (pre-H'el on Earth), there isn't much of the New 52 stuff that really makes me want to spend my money.

I voted for Action Comics but, if it had been on the list, I'd have voted for Bryan Q. Miller's Smallville: Season 11. Both books aren't perfect, but they're fun. Also, generally the arcs are interesting and the characters are sympathetic.

We're talking about the New 52 here, the universe that we know you love so much. I mean, aren't you pumped to see Jim Lee drawing Superman again?

Yeah, now that you mention it. Smallville would be my vote, too.

It's sad that Morrison's worst work in recent years is the best thing in the line. The quality difference of Inc and Action is huge.
