The Annihilators in the DCU

Lets assume that the Annihilators, with Knowhere acting as their home base, showed up in the DCU to kick ass and take names.

The lineup consists of...

Silver Surfer
Beta Ray Bill
Ronan the Accuser
Nova
Quasar
Ikon

...and Cosmo is running things and directing the squad from Knowhere.

Whose ass do they kick? Which names do they take?

Or are they made irrelevant by the Lantern corps?

Well considering it's pretty well established that either of the first two would solo the JLA or the GLC, I'd say they do quite well. At least a solid B+.

Until they meet Batman or the Ten Eyed Man.

Lets talk about it two ways:

1. They get D-dumped by plot into the DCU and set themselves up with the same function as the Annihilators: kind of a galactic nuclear deterrent where they unmake you if you cross the line.

2. They arrive with the sole intention of kicking EVERYONE'S ass.

I do see them running afoul of the GLC. I'm sure it would lead to some interesting stories. However, with dick-all the GLC can really do to most of them, I see this being resolved by the Guardians using only the most sensible of diplomatic solutions. And by that I mean a fool proof plan that cannot possibly backfire to righteously contain such rogue elements.

At that rate, they're going to rupture the universe which results in the creation of a new Sinestro Corps where all of the members are evil temporal clones of Sinestro.
