True, but She Hulk was a member during the 80's and 90's and Rulk was a member during Bendis' second volume. Skaar was a Dark Avenger and Rick Jones has also been a cast member at a couple points in his life. One way or another the Hulk family usually has one foot in the Avengers titles. Plus, I don't see Hulk leaving the film franchise (that Marvel desperately wants to reflect in the 616) for a while. (He was really the break out character of the film.) I think Hulk deserves a spot over here.

Is it because he's a person of color?

He should be in this thread. He was crucial in the movie and in the founding of the team.
Oh my... I think I've found a new cause to push. Thanks OP. I'm going to make sure the Hulk gets some justice, just like Cardiac, people who know the truth about Cap and his affair as well as his drug use. Awesome.

I do think She Hulk should get to be in the Avengers forums... well maybe not because she's equally associated with the Fantastic Four so that's a hard choice and she's currently in FF.

I didn't read much of Quasar's run with the team so I cannot comment there.
Wonder Man is a founding member, is he?

Hulk is also a founding Defender. So that makes 2 teams. Personally, I like the Defenders more,

Nope. Avengers #9. For an issue before being dead for a decade or two.

Even if you're counting Cap as a founder, Simon is, at best, the first non-founder.

So being a founding member makes you more of an Avenger? So Captain America is less of an Avenger than the Hulk?

And, in that vein of logic, for example: Aqualad is more of a Teen Titan than Donna Troy, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Starfire, Speedy, and Raven, or any other addition since him [despite the fact that he was only a member of the group for 19 issues not counting the Titans series.] That form of thinking is just ridiculous.

I find this strange too. He's a big part of the live-action film as well as the new Avengers flagship by Hickman. In his solo he's seen with Iron Man and he's working with SHIELD as a member of the Avengers it seems. There's also DeConnick's "Assemble." I think it's time Hulk is considered a proper Avenger.

Cap was retroactively granted Founding status.

Also, I don't recall seeing Wonder Man as a member of the big movie that made over $1 billion dollars.

The movie and the comics are two VERY different things. Hulk is too recognizable of a Marvel character [which Marvel studios had the rights to] not to put into the Marvel team movie, not too recognizable of an Avenger. Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Fantastic Four would be Avengers if Marvel Studios had their rights.

The avengers section of the forums should be only for comicbooks with an "AVENGERS" mention in the title, nothing else, i'm already pissed enough as it is that Thor is always talked about in this section and not the marvel section. If we had to talk about every character who was/appeared in the avegners we wouldn't need more then 1 section for any marvel characters ffs.

Does it matter where you talk about the Hulk? Either thread is fine. There have been so many members of various teams that it's just impossible to do it right.

Because Black Widow and Hawkeye were such recognizable characters, right?

Of the characters Marvel has the rights to, I'd consider them to be some of the most recognizable Avengers. I mean, they could have used Wasp, but they opted for Black Widow.

Hulk is too tall to fit into the Avengers forum.
