1. Inc
2. Red Hood
1. Inc
2. Red Hood
There was no competition in my estimation.
Inc all the way.
As for the poll, I'll have to go with the only one of these books I actually bother to purchase, Batman Inc.
I'm not sure if it's for the same reason, but that probably gets my most memorable vote as well.
I wonder if DC is trying to start up a Bat-Family romance to rival what's going on with Supes and Wondy in Justice League. Maybe Bruce can help Joker try on glasses too. You know, so Joker can disguise himself in public.
I.... agree with you. Tomorrow truly is the end of the world. As far as the Batfamily, I'll just pick Batwoman for everything because at its worst it's just average. The other batfamily titles are unreadable to me.
My top five would probably be:
1)Batwoman
2)Red Hood and the Outlaws
3)Batman Beyond
4)Batman and Robin
5)Batman Inc.
Time for a quick update regarding the standings currently, here are the top 3 best bat books!
1. Batman with 25 votes
2. Batman Incoropated with 24 votes
3. Batwoman with 4 votes (Now that's a gigantic gap between 2nd and 3rd!)
I've been following the voting carefully and for you Inc. fans, don't be dismayed by the voting, this seems to change from time to time. I've seen it where you guys lead by at least 3 or 4 votes at one point!
Also; Detective Comics, Batman: The Dark Knight, Catwoman, Batwing, and Talon have no votes for Best of the Year. Too bad so sad for these ones.
'Tec would get my vote for best of the last 3 months, but it had all those awful issues before that. And Inc. has two more issues than that. The rest of them don't compare to Inc.
There ain't no teens watching Teen Titans Go.
From your post to Dido's ears. Just imagine Supey thinking he's all that cause he has Wondy on his arm, and then Bats comes walking in dragging Joker by the hair (because they're into that sort of thing), poor Supey, overshadowed by Batman again.
![]()
Inc by a country mile, although, to be fair, I don't really read much else in the line too closely except Batman.
Here we go:
Best Arc:
Batman Inc's arc so far.
Most Memorable Moment:
Batman grimly realizing the Joker loves him as he walks into Arkham Asylum. (Batman # 15).
Best Fight:
Batman Inc. vs. Leviathan's Assassins. (Batman Inc. # 4). I'm not sure how you can possibly beat this. It literally takes a casual stroll over the crotch area of downed fight scenes from other books.
Best Villain:
Talia (Batman Inc.) Whereas I love the Joker stuff in Snyder's Batman, too, it's less of an evolution for the character than what Morrison's doing to Talia in Inc.
Best Portrayal of Batman:
Grant Morrison's Batman Inc. A master draws his six-year-plus saga to a close, his Batman a zen strategist and patriarch at the top of his game who effortlessly slips into disguise when needed ('my little action figure!' his Matches Malone says).
Best Cover:
I'm not fantastic with remembering covers, they kinda blur together for me. I guess Capullo's # 14 was pretty good though.
Best Issue:
Batman Inc. #5
This is a tight one--all the Batman Inc. issues released this year are close runner-ups, and so is Batman # 15.
Best Artist:
Chris Burnham.
Again, a very tough choice. Greg Capullo's just as good as an artist--but the thought of new Burnham art just makes me thaaaat much happier.
Best Writer:
Grant Morrison.
No competition here.
Best Comic:
Batman Inc.

Having recently had a chance to flip through a friend's copies of Batwoman, I think that would have to get my vote for best art. JH Williams III just amazes me, even though I enjoy Burnham's style and what he's doing over in Inc.
Did the Penguin: Pain & Predujice mini come out in 2012? If so, best villain has to go to Penguin. That series was phenomenal
The only one that I really enjoy is the main Batman book.
Recommended Comics:
Star Wars: Dark Times,
Richard Stark's Parker by Darwyn Cooke,
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye
Batman Inc is head and shoulders above the rest. Batman is at second place. Batwoman would have been at the second spot if weren't for its 2nd arc.
