Great issue, best X-factor has been in a while. loved Polaris taking charge.
I liked Shatterstar's initiative - too bad we never saw if he could get out of a shapeshifter's clutches on his own, especially a 'nobody' demoness. I liked Pip's "Predictable" comment. I could not remember what M was talking about with Emplate so I missed out on that dramatic moment. She was great though - too bad she let her one-track mind get the better of her not 1,2, but 3 times with the world about to burn. I thought the art was just servicable this time. It might've been nice for a bit more details to give more of details or clues - especially since next issue cover spoils the mystery anyways it seems. I really look forward to #50.
Am I the only one that noticed the Walking Dead reference when the army of Jamie's is coming to the fight and one screams "Kill them all!"?
The story itself was ok, nothing special but I like the fact since breaking points arc Lorna has been coming into her own and taking charge/leadership role.
I have had an on and off again relationship with XFactor since the 05 years. I followed the new version since issue 1, but fell off a little after Ruby Summers. I am also not the biggest Layla fan. I came back with Lorna, my fondness for her outweighs my dislike of Layla. Haha. She is really mixing well with the cast, and her interactions with Monet and Rictor in particularly enjoyable. The issue as a whole was just a good super hero book. High action with great character beats and nice humor. I am glad I came back. I might have to get some trades to see what I missed.

Totally agree with this. This issue was quite a bit better than the previous and the art much improved. The faces were good even on the demons. :3
As far as Lorna's uniform, the only thing that bugs me is the boots. I'd love to see the tops mirror her collar, or tiara or something other than just straight. Other than that nitpick, I think it's fine.
XFactor is such a good book. I'm REALLY into this storyline.

This was a perfect issue. I can't believe how much I missed the team interacting together and getting back to their own thing. Lorna was awesome. It's probably says something about me how I was ready to hack Havok to pieces for trying to intrude as a leader type but I'm pretty happy with Lorna taking the reigns from Jamie. I got to wonder how their dynamic will be in this arc and after. Lorna's costume look pretty good here too, the art was awesome.
Polaris is only good in X-factor (or when Austen writes her), so I'm glad she didn't go with Havok. Polaris vs Monet is great. I like where this is going but I'm starting to lose interest in the title.

This issue was no good. Read X-Men Legacy for good writing.

PAD threw me for a loop when he had Monet bring up her past as Penance thanks to Emplate. Fantastic. I would love to see a PAD-written Emplate. Carey did a fun job with him in Legacy so he's ripe for a comeback.
great issue. Loved Polaris holding down the fort when Madrox was on his way back and everyone got some great moments to shine. It's always fun when Shatterstar lets lose. Jamie's not sure if he's mad at Layla or loves her for protecting him was adorable. I also loved the registry line. Hilarious that no one could hear his big pronouncements until Pip repeated it for them. ha ha
Schmitty's Evil Twin.
i wasn't impressed with this comic. monet is becoming increasingly unbearable. i'm still only reading it for rictor and shatterstar, but it's getting old.
Assertive slap happy Lorna FTW.
More slapping. Less judicious, is fine.
