She had a small cameo in JiM recently. I'm surprised she is not in Hickman's Avengers. Maybe she is slated for Fearless Defenders.

Well she appeared in this captain marvel lol. Her powers seems interesting and unique to me.

It means more pages than usual. It isn't a 'larger' (wider+taller) comic book or anything. Usually an annual, first issue, or milestone issue (#500), would be 'giant size', either with extra story pages or a bonus story or cover gallery. Sometimes you will see a giant size 'one-shot', which is just when they publish one issue of something not meant to be a series (usually to test for a response to see if it is worth publishing a series).

A famous case of 'giant size' was 'Giant Size X-Men' from 1975, which was supposed to be a one-shot, but was so successful it re-jumpstarted the X-Men series and successors that we all love today.

Also, as you may know DC comics also has a 'Captain Marvel' character. You may know him as Shazam. Marvel has to publish a comic called 'Captain Marvel' every so often, because if they don't publish it for a certain number of years, they will lose the trademark or whatever, and DC will snatch it up.

Carol Danvers is an Avenger, hence threads about her or her comic go into the Avengers forum, same with characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, etc. Basically, heroes who aren't Spider-Man, Wolverine, or the X-Men contingent from Uncanny Avengers.

The Avengers board is definitely where her fanbase lives. You'll probably get a lot more chatter up here.
