All New X-Men Review/Synopsis #4 (spoilers)

OK,I wanted to really like this, Bendis has made Cyclops one of my favourite characters, I'm getting Uncanny X-Men and I'm genuinely interested in the plot, but 18 pages? That's bad, horrific when you consider that's 15 story pages. (Going by comixology here) I like this series, but paying what is now, thanks to new iTunes prices, roughly 9.33$ for thirty pages is idiotic. Otherwise it seems I'd save money going full-time DC.
I mean, what happens once Bendis takes up Uncanny and Guardians of the Galaxy? 10-page comics?

Sorry for jumping in between yoy discussions. I have just started reading this series. I have a confusing regarding the woman whom cyclops and x men were trying to free. Is she also Emma Frost?

That was the one and only Emma. Unless you're referring to the Australian woman they saved first, who is not Emma. Did the crazy accent confuse you?

You know what this is? This is Bendis wanting to write Stan Lees X-Men, way back when they started. This is Bendis thinking in decompression, about what it is like to think like Jean Grey the first time she becomes Telepathic. The first time the little X-Men think about what they are and what they will become. It's a pretty enterprising exercise on Bendis' part, because to this day, Stan Lee never let us in on what these kids had to deal with, he just put them in the danger room and told them to dodge death, and see if that was enough to keep them alive. Bendis doesn't like that. Bendis wants to know what went on inside the kids, so he wrote this story this way.

What also happens when Bendis writes this story, is that the old X-Men are caught up in this. Right after the abomination that was HoM, Schism, and AVX, comes this face to face with what you have become. Bendis takes today's X-Men, and pours the light on them in 2012, and says to them, " Hey! I thought we were going to become these great, whatdoyoumacallits?". But in reality, shining this light on the oldies shows them that they either like what they became,or, that Bendis is going to make them have this revelation that they are not on the right path. Thats what I think the Beast has in mind, and it's a pretty startling idea, all round.

New Avengers could be well before ANXM because Steve Rogers has a dream about the Illuminati, before all these teams are formed from Avengers #1. That means if Steve has already had experience of the Illuminati to have these dreams, then NA had already happened earlier and probably before Beast got sick in ANXM.

That means if Steve has already had experience of the Illuminati to have these dreams, then NA had already happened earlier and probably before Beast got sick in ANXM.

Namor is on the same team, and that is really reaching. It's an ongoing series by Jonathon Hickman starring these men of high science saving the multiverse and semi-rotating casts.

I bet good money it has nothing to do with Bendis. Remember he is paid by the page, its not in his nor the artists best interests to cut page counts.
