Singer Confirms Jackman's Role as Wolverine in "X-Men: Days of Future Past"

You really want to see Wolverine vs Magneto? Why? That's going to be a horribly one sided fight even if Wolverine doesn't have his adamantium yet. Unless Logan happens to catch him off guard, but then that type of fight wouldn't last long either as Magneto didn't exactly show much skill in h2h combat.

I'm not really sure what to think about this one. Singer's X-Men movies really only ever had a few good parts, and were never anywhere near as good as First Class was.

Well then, that is his mistake. Returns was a mis-step on his part. A single blemish on an otherwise successful career so far. An yes, I saw Mockingbird Lane. And I liked it. And I say that as a staunch fan of the original.

Singer wanted to do both "Superman Returns" and "The Last Stand", but FOX wanted the latter out first and when he was told that it would be a rush job, Singer said no thanks and concentrated on Superman. The rush job is why Vaughn wound up backing out and we got Ratner instead.

You know, I have nothing against the guy, but there's something about the prospect of seeing Hugh Jackman get the flesh melted off his bones by a giant robot that would get me psyched something fierce.

This is the perfect opportunity to clean up the movie-continuity in the same manner that Abrams did w/ Star Trek. I'd love to see the teams line up w/ the comic continuity a bit more than in previous films.

The X-Men franchise started ten years ago. Is Singer the only guy who can direct these movies? Is Jackman the only guy who can play Wolverine?

This shit got stale when Last Stand came out.
