"It is wrong to assume that art needs the spectator in order to be. The film runs on without any eyes. The spectator cannot exist without it. It ensures his existence." -- James Douglas Morrison
He does a pretty good job writng his newspaper version of Spider-Man, I'm sure he still has it in him to do a story or two in a full page comic book story arc.
Stan's dialogue is very dated. A few years ago he wrote a few stories for Marvel. I can't remember what they were called. I think it was a FF story. I remember being very excited about it, and then just not enjoying it all that much.
Now if I go back and read early ASM issues I love it, but in todays world it just isn't solid pacing.
I'd still buy it though!

They only keep Stan Lee around and it's not because of his writing ability. He's only there to make Marvel look good.Stan Lee has no powers over anything. If he asks really nicely, they let him write a comic.
If he still has it then sure why not.
I dunno. Nothing I've ever read has impressed me all that much. I tried to get through those old issues and I couldn't do it. I think he had some cool ideas, but his writing can be pretty cheesy.
It would probably be incredibly corny.
Empty winds scrape on the soul never stop to realize/Animal whisperings intoxicate the night
Hypnotize the desperate slow motionlight/Wash away into the rain
Blood, milk and sky....
Doesn't he already write that Spidey comic strip?
As for Stan writing for the big company titles again...best served in small doses. His short story from 600 was a nice bit of meta-commentary and shows he's not "behind the times", but the product is now so far away from his original vision that he might not be able to do anything but retread, and he's a forward thinking guy (Peter's still married in the comic strip after all)

Should Stan Lee write new Spidey stories?
Only if they get Ditko to plot and do the art.
Otherwise, forget it.
They could pull in Stan Lee and Mark Bagley like they did in #400. It was awesome.
I agree. That too.
