Can someone explain Cable's eye patch... shouldn't it be on the other eye?

I always thought the left one was the techno-organic one too, but the right one has the scars from the virus. So maybe we were wrong. That's the only explanation I've got.

Wish I had a scanner pretty sure at the end of Cyclops and the Phoenix when he was in a coma talking to Rachel it was implied that his right eye was the TO one though continuity be damned they have explained those scars as just scars and sometimes they where marks of the Ascani so it could just be a coincidence that it was the right side they chose.
