He seems to have a real enjoyment for this book and it's characters. I love his comment about Wanda and Cable too. Hopeless is alright in my book. Can't wait for a double dose tomorrow!

I like that he seems to be enjoying writing the book and its characters, but man, I really have to force myself sometimes to keep up my interest in following this series because of Hope. Even if she is written miles better than she was in AvX I still really dislike the character. At least the art makes it a little easier.

Also I agree with the Gambit questions. I mean I am a fan of the character, and I'd like to see him involved in a Now! title or a core book, but they have already made it clear that there aren't any immediate plans. No need to keep asking the same thing, or CBR doesn't need to keep using it.

Agreed on both counts. Regardless, Hopeless is great and I look forward to seeing what he has planned for Cable, despite my feelings of ambivalence towards the first issue.

The Forge thing was already resolved. Forge survived the explosion but went full on insane. Cable used his telepathy to create a scenario in which Forge was able to fix his own mind, making him sane again.

Did Dennis Hopeless seem ... peppy? I read all of his responses in my outside voice. Just an observation, not a criticism.

I'm kind of on the fence on this one. But more Dr. Nemesis and Forge banter would certainly be a good thing.
