Can't wait too see where KSD takes carol to next year but even as a big carol fan that art is awful.

I had been wanting to give this book a try. When I picked up up a couple of weeks ago I didn't like the art so decided to give it a miss. Looks like I get to give it another shot.

I'm not loving the art (it's a little too cartoon-y) but it sounds awesome, and the art is at-least fun. New Deathbird, and Spiderwoman and a new job... cool.

The art gives me a weird manga vibe. Personally, I couldn't read this book and take it seriously due to it.

The art is really great, but I wonder if it is as palatable to a mass audience. As a comic book art fan, I think it's a great style, but I don't know if it fits the book.

I for one, think the art is a disaster.

Art is subjective, of course, but I really don't know how someone can look at, say, Carol's face in the bottom panel of the left-most page at the bottom of the article and think "THIS ART IS AMAZING!!!!" Seriously, her face looks like melted mush in that panel. Or how she's apparently missing an eyeball in the last page.

Frankly, she doesn't even look human in these pages...more like an elf or alien or some such.
