Agreed, this doesn't sound like a very potent mixture.

In what world doesn't Tarantino doing a Luke Cage/Hero for Hire movie not sound like a great mix? It can't be the real world.

I'm not as high on Tarantino as others are. I just dont think his style would work well for what I'd picture in a Luke Cage movie.

This probably could have been the greatest comic book movie ever. And it would probably would not have created this horrible idea that Bendis is the savior of Cage just because he dumped him on an Avengers book.

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened to the character if a big movie with him, in like 93 or 94, had been made.

Honestly, I shudder what it would have been like in the pre blade era of marvel movies.

Even if it was relatively good, it wouldn't have been. <shudder> :(

    Because Steve Norrington saved Blade?

It would've been a conveyor belt of slo-mo action and one-liners.

    What Shades was talking about.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Quentin do it now, twentyish years later.

Yeah, but what does slo-mo action and one-liners have to do with him making a Luke Cage movie? He isn't known for those things.
