Default Has anyone ever re-lettered an old comic book page?

I got a gift a few years ago, a page from Power Man & Iron Fist 73. It's a cool page and all but it's missing all the word balloons and captions. There's still marks from when the originals had been glued to the page. I want to eventually frame it, but I'd given some thought recently to trying to re-letter it.

I'm curious as to how I would figure out the sizing. I could try printing some of the balloons a few dozen times, but that seems really tedious. Has anyone here done it? What kind of paper/program also? Any help would be great. Thanks.

IIRC, comics at the time were drawn 1 1/2 times the printing size. I suppose you could figure it out from that.

If you want a professional to do it, Tom Orzechowski has done things like this in the past. You can reach him thru his website, http://serifsup.com/
