    7. Rima, the Jungle Girl

I haven't read these threads yet - but I imagine a lot of people have included this series, so I will too!

    T-7... Steampunk (2000) #1-12

This book is an exception to my list.
All the others, I read and enjoyed, from both perspectives -- art and story wise. (that was also my self-imposed criteria in regards to this years CCC)
Steampunk beat this rule, since I have to admit I could not read it past issue #2. Not that it was bad, but as ashamed as I'm to admit this, I didn't understand a damn thing from the words cluttering, what I consider Chris Bachalo's greatest work to date. He really outdid himself in this series. The sheer amount of delicate details is astounding. He can also draw bizarre gadgets from neither past nor future, like it's nobody's business. The ink and color is also top notch.

One of the most influential and popular series on early television, the Honeymooners spawned this brief comic adaptation. How DC ended up with the license instead of Dell, I have no idea. Dell was well-known for doing this kind of series, not DC.

    Day 6...Wolverine The Origin (2001)

Frigging cover for #1 had me fooled Almost everyone thought Wolverine was the boy with the hat. Liked the series because it reveals his life before Weopon X. Also, when this book was first released, it sold out on Day 1 and was on eBay the next day for $40 and yours truly started dabbling with the speculator market by buying 25 copies (which were en route) at cover price.

Ditto for me with Stanley & His Monster. I have the first 3 ordered; if memory serves, the 4th one is either a bit pricey for cheapskate moi (i.e. somewhere around *choke* cover price or even above) or out of stock.
I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.
