Cancelling HELLBLAZER - that I do hate!
At least, though, the final cover looks great!
Great interview!
I'd definitely pick up a coffee table book of his covers.
Those Bisley covers were an absolute joy to view and I hope they release a coffee table with those covers.
Then you have the annual, which he did an MARVELOUS job with; he got the atmosphere of that story perfectly.
Saludos desde el exilio a una generación de destructores.
I've mentioned this many times before, but I would have killed to have Bisley be the regular series artist. Suicide Bridge was my first ever Hellblazer comic.

The cancelling of this title makes me very sad. This was some of Milligan's best writing ever, and the art was always top notch. I'd go thru the comics I was reading for the week and those Bisley covers would always make me smile. They were so damn interesting you know? I'd really want to know what happened in each issue and when I read it was never disappointed. It's a real shame this run didn't last another 50 issues or more.
And to replace it we've got a watered down Constantine running around with the superheroes and written by the guy who writes X-O Manowar? I like that series but it seems like a bad match. DC just has nothing that interests me anymore.
Bisley has been on fire this year, with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse trilogy and also The Tower Chronicles getting going. He's the main man.
DROKK IT!!
Awesome interview. Nice to hear very openly and at length from someone on the team.
..a book with all the covers Bisley did for DC would be okay too ..
His DOOM PATROL ones ARE JUST AWESOME..
Mr Bisley,
would you continue working with Peter Milligan, and doing RED LANTERNS' art and covers ?

Simon Bisley should continue drawing the cover art for Constantine.
In the meantime, Peter Milligan should get another chance at Shade the Changing Man solo for the next wave with Simon Bisley for the interiors.
