Come on, your both and you know you are. I can also find 100 random British citizens (fuck being a 'subject') who would say yes in the majority.

Here's the right time to bring up the Tony Martin case.

and that's a tough one...we've got people that believe the minorities are going to rise up or the Gub'mint is coming to take their guns and the only protection they have is Ol' Painless

Really dude. You're so freaking creepy.

You all talk about shooting and stuff but you know what? Odds are that if really something like that was to happen to you, you would be paralyzed by fear and stress.

That's real life, that's the truth, not some crazy fantasy.
I have been shot at for real, I managed to keep my ablity to function quite well

What is a reasonable way for someone if not physically stronger and more skilled than an intruder to stop them without using a firearm?

My wife weights under a hundred pounds, id anything but a firearm going to do her much good?

Nor have I because quite clearly you've got people (including people posting on the subject on CBR) that putting a load of people in the ground before Christmas is the price the country has to pay, and these people are powerfully vocal in your country so like I said elsewhere, you've got more than one problem to deal with beyond actually getting weapons of mass murder out of circulation.

That doesn't make it justifiable for people to own thousands of rounds of ammunition, military style weapons and have free range to kill anyone even looking at your house.

I just don't know what a logical solution would be

How about countries like Germany, France, Sweden and so on where the police are armed, there are more guns in circulation and there's still not the deaths you associate with the US?

that's not what any of us are saying....a bit hyperbolic

if someone walks into my house with malicious intent, I would first call 911, I would warn them that the police have been called and I armed, if they continue with malicious intent, I would then shoot them

so we are not wanna be action heroes Yippe Ki Yaying all over the place, but we are not going to be victims if it can be helped
