Seriously? The main issue (the only one I should have to really cite) is that there are already a zillion guns out there. Restricting guns for new applicants isn't the problem. All the guns already out there is the problem. Then we have the drug trafficking — border and not land border-related. That's plenty right there!

I'm under the impression that you are underestimating the situation in the UK. Cops are quite busy there too. There is less guns of course but...

Again, you miss the point. It's about what's already out there, and the futility in the disarming of myriad owners and possessors. What about that is difficult to comprehend?

And I'm still waiting for the directions to your stead so that I may help myself to your comix.

I guess we can state this as many times as we'd like, but nobody is going to get a grip on this concept.

In canada, the legal owners were allowed to keep them. The illegal ones are a problem.

Irrelevant. Ask a representative sampling of 100 British subjects whether they consider themselves "European", I guarantee the majority will say no.

Ah, I see. This was not immediately apparent to me, since I am not living in an episode of Little House on the Prairie.

Watching kiddies being buried a week before Christmas while people argue semantics while doing not an awful lot to stop anything like this happening again tends to do that as well.
