I do all my reading digitally, but I've subscribed to some of Marvel's paper comics just to get a discount on the digital codes. I just give the paper comics away.

Trades is easier to keep, store, read, handle and they are cheaper. Usually I do a pretty good research on each book so I don't get disappointed.

I read most of my books digitally. I pick up a couple of my favorites (Winter Soldier, Cap, Hawkeye, and Swamp Thing) in hard copy because I like the art. I travel a lot for work so it is nice to be able to read them off the comixology website or my phone, and I don't like things taking up space in my house so it works out very well for me. I also doubt that a physical collection today would hold much if any value in the future since so many people read the books and then directly bag and board them. There will be way too many books in excellent condition in order for it to be worth it for me to keep the books, store the books, move the books, etc.

Edit: I also love the ease of finding back issues and sales that the companies have on Comixology.
