Default Runaways: My take on the series!

Well, I have read about 3 issues of Marvel's Runaways. I like this series. For those who don't know what this series is about, let me set the explain. Runaways is about 5-6 teenagers who find out that their parents are part of a super villains organization. The teenagers Alex, Karolina, Gert, Chase, and Nico are investigating their parents uncovering a master plan. So far, I have liked the series. And I plan on reading more. What are your thoughts on the series.

Loved it. Was the first comic to really grab me and make me think of the creators that were behind it.

It has not aged very well though and Volume one while reading decently in one sitting is pretty mediocre as an ongoing comic at least when read issue by issue. BKV's volume 2 still holds together pretty well though.

It'll always have A place in my heart naturally. I really wish Marvel would have given the series a proper conclusion rather than stealth cancel it after four issues of Kat Immonen though. At least Chase and Nico have made it out of Limbo for now, granted it's in a book they may very well die in but they've been dead already for over 3 years at this point (Arguably longer).

Amazing. I adore both Vaughn and Whedon's run. And I miss it.

I've read Vol. 2, and while I absolutely loved the parts spent on the Runaways themselves, too much time and attention, I think, was focused on the 'villians' of the storyline.

My favourite BKV book. An incredibly fun read.

From what I hear its meant to be brilliant.

I loved every issue that Brian K Vaughan wrote. When he left it went downhill, even with Joss Whedon writing an arc. I think BKV is still the only writer to truly nail the characters (since he created them).

It started out good, but then it went all over the place. It became very confusing.
