Well, all I can say is this whole idea is better than the way the Ultimate Universe did things. That was so f^*$ing terrible what happened there.
Life has its own share of twists and turns. Pick friends who are willing to keep you on the roller coaster.
no discussing reactions to asm #700 till wednesday
Damn Marvel
Damn there Now
and damn this Superior Spider-Man
I tossed them overboard two years ago and
now I am reading over 20 on going titles and can not
wait to read Superior Spider-Man and Avenging Spider-Man.
I thought so at first, too, but apparently a lot of people are excited for someone who's not Peter being Spider-Man... It's ok though, because we still have Scarlet Spider...
I thought it might be interesting to look at the spoilers, now that we know what happened in Amazing Spider-Man #700.
Is this an accurate summary of the issue?

Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?
"Here, hold my Annihilus…" Johnny Storm, Fantastic Four #601
I don't think so. It seems to represent one problem with spoilers, in that the discussion would be devoted to the things that one guy thinks is important, as opposed to what happens in the story.
I can understand that there isn't much need in a synopsis to include filler scenes, which don't change anything for any of the characters. But the guy left out a lot of the major beats which were important: Peter's vision of heaven where Uncle Ben tells him not to leave a guy like Doc Ock around, His concern that he was compromising his values while in Doc Ock's body, Carlie's injuries, J. Jonah Jameson's about-face on Spider-Man, and the scene in which Doctor Octopus experienced what it was like to be Spider-Man.
And it would be difficult from anyone at Marvel to talk about the spoilers and the mistakes, without confirming what's correct.
