    I think marvel dodged a bullet too, Whedon is mostly hit or miss with me, but the thought of peter using Whedon-speak makes me shudder.

    Spidey would have rocked under whedon and I wouldn't have to read another main stream marvel title than that.

    Whedon I could have accepted.

    Hitch? No. He's just not a good fit for Spider-man in my opinion. His characters don't really emote well, and I just don't think he would capture the energy for a Spider-man book. He'd be fine on something like Cap or Iron Man, but no to Spider-man.

    Whedon mentioned at a comic con panel that hitch wanted to do a run on spiderman with him but they could never come up with an original story so they never did it
