I agree. Savage Wolverine looks pretty awesome. We've already had plenty of stories about Wolverine going on his little solo quests recently. It's been a while since we had a story where he just goes back to basics and gets in touch with his inner animal. Plus, Frank Cho is involved. That's an epic win in and of itself.

Well, Wolverine fans should be very happy.

Savage Wolverine looks exciting, great art, and it seems like a secret substitute for Ka-Zar, which I don't mind. I'm actually looking more forward to this series because of the concept.

And also, you have Cornell/Davis combo on solo. Of course, I'd prefer them on Excalibur/Captain Britain series, but at least this series won't get cancelled.

He's still in Uncanny Avengers, Avengers, All New X-Men and Wolverine and the X-Men so no, we shouldn't.

I'll be getting Savage. Haven't really cared for Cornell's interviews, to be honest. I like Cho (the artist), like Shanna (the character), like the other Cho (the character), and am fairly certain the book will come out irregularly enough to be the far cheaper of the two.

just read an interview on newsarama with frank cho...he kind of put me off his own title. his words...

"I'm treating Savage Wolverine more as a creator-owned project than work for hire. What I mean is that I'm focusing on the essence of the character and not too much on the dizzying continuity"

i enjoy continuity im not sure why he would throw wolvie in the savage land just out of nowhere unless it was spun out of the wolverine and the x men. i get the creator owned thing but its not for me...i guess ive made up my mind. im sticking with wolverine solo title not his savage team up title

Spell check my ass! There's people in this forum who barely write in anything close to english.
Yeah, I made a mistake in one letter, in one word and I'll make others in the future. I'm not perfect and I'm very aware of that. But I don't need to be perfect to call people morons. They just have to be acting like morons! Saying that Frank Cho only draws busty women (what a crime!), when he has proven himself has an artist in several diferent books, is objectively wrong! It's ignoring a lot of his body of work because of some pictures he drew. There's no excuse to be that wrong. The dude drew the Avengers, for Christ sakes! There are images, that he drew, posted in this very thread, that disprove that notion. Anybody who argues against that, is wrong and is stupid!
Anyone who says he's a worst artist then Rob Liefeld has only blindness as an excuse.

That's a plus for Cho, in my opinion. Wolverine's continuity sucks, these days.
That said, looking at his interviews, Cornell doesn't seem to very interested in writing tie-ins to stories in other books, either.

Yeah, I'd tend to agree that ignoring most of Logan's recent continuity is a selling point for me and not a deterrent. Most of what's been done with him in the past decade has been pure garbage.

Wolverine by Cornell and Davis by far.
Wolverine by Cho looks visually interesting as well.
