Based on actual feats, Onslaught may well lose. To be fair to him, though, even based on what he showed, he exists as mental energy and it took specific tech to take him out, so I'm not totally sure that the all-physical league can beat him. A speed-amped GL, though, it awfully tough.

Based on what Onslaught SHOULD be capable of, he stomps.

Eh. That "specific technique" just means most of the JLA have to fly into him while he's helpless to stop that apparently, then the rest kill him/them/whatever.

Manhunter has telepathy in this one, so it's not quite all physical this time around.

Manhunter's telepathy is strictly bush league in this company. That's certainly not how the JL could win - MM has no chance against Xavier solo in pure TP, and against a stack of Xavier and Nate Grey? C'mon.

The JL could win, as stated, on Onslaught's feats - the dude never did remotely what his composite powerset should have let him do without effort. But they won't win by mind-screw. Chuck and Nate would laugh at J'onn.

By "specific tech", I'm talking about the technology, not the technique, of the "anti-psi" stuff that Reed and Tony built from Chuck's own designs. Of course, they also, for some entirely PIS-ridden crapfest reason, had the Hulk cracking Onslaught's armor (warning, shit-that-shouldn't-have-ever-happened-ever-anywhere-alert is sounding) being some kind of key aspect of the defeat, so yeah, JLA likely wins based on that. Even though it's ridiculous given the powerset Onslaught was handed.

Hulk breaking through the armor was part of Onslaught's hilariously stupid master plan.

Thor smashed through it besides, but that was also part of Onslaught's.. uh.. brilliant scheme.

It's not really an achievement for either when it's explicitly something the villain wanted them to do.

You're not following. It's that Onslaught's "ultimate super mega transcendance form of pure psi" had the amusing flaw of that people could like.. fly into it, absorb it unto themselves, and then be killed to kill him.

So if this is "full power Onslaught" in his final form, they're certainly the lot of them fast enough to bust that out.

Could Kyle fill up Onslaught's psychic energy form with constructs and then the rest smash him to pieces.

No, it has to be an actual living sentient dude or whatever. Not that this explained the Vision, but that comic and making sense was a tangential thing.

It would have been much more use for Onslaught to have absorbed the intellect of either Doom, Richards or Pym who were all present IIRC (but not Stark, because of course it was Teen Tony at the time due to another epic tale of not-making-sense, The Crossing) and just realised "You know.... this plan really is a sack of crap. I've got the powers of a massively powerful reality-warper, the two greatest psionics on Earth, and possibly the greatest energy manipulator. Maybe even an unstoppable physical body as well, although I'm a bit fuzzy on that bit. I should totally just erase them all from existence, then go looking for Infinity Gems, hookers and blow."

Didn't Onslaught return as basically a wannabe Proteus? Did he do anything impressive then?
It's a lie! My pants were off the entire time!

Good point. I'd put in Franklin-style mental blocks against that level of stupidity.

Onslaught makes a second Sun and starts bringing it closer to Earth.
Superman is just fine with this.

Well, he'd probably have a problem with the effects it'd have on the climate

Since we really are looking at exploiting Onslaught's ridiculous weakness, are there enough members of this "JLA" (Black Adam? Really?) to absorb all of Onslaught? There were a lot more Avengers and FF members than that, and Pym must have counted for quite a few on his own, given his size/mass.
