    Default Heads up Vertigo gang

    Animal man Omni
    http://www.amazon.com/The-Animal-Omnibus-Grant-Morrison/dp/1401238998/ref=pd_sim_b_3

    Sandman Omni
    http://www.amazon.com/The-Sandman-Omnibus-Vol-1/dp/1401241883/ref=pd_sim_b_4

The Authority HC (seems to collect the entire Ellis run)

with all these and other me releases from Vertigo for next year, might we see a Shade Omni or Doom Patrol Omni or Enigma reprint?

Yeah, saw them. There's also going to be a Sleeper Omnibus, Top 10 and Global Frequency coming out in February.
Doom Patrol Omnibus most likely because Morrison sells.
I just wish they would collect all the Milligan minis into one big collection.

Let's all hope that the LUCIFER BOOK 1 is a HC or even better a DELUXE, and the whole TP thing is just a regular solicitations mistake from DC.Fingers Crossed

Was wondering if they'd collect the Hellblazer annual. Thank goodness for that.

Yeah I'd prefer a $5-10 higher cover price for a hardcover set of books.

Your Authority link is for the Sandman, and Authority was a Wildstorm title, but I getcha! Thanks, brotha.

Animal Man I'll probably be picking up, but of course what I really want is Doom Patrol. Sandman I think, when I have the money, I'd probably rather pick up the series of Absolutes. That's one of those "Absolute-worthy" series. So far the only one I have is New Frontier, well worth it.

New Frontier is also the only absolute I own! Well worth it for the price, and Darwyn Cooke's art is really beautiful.

I'm happy to see they're reprinting Lucifer, since I never managed to find a copy of the fourth trade. Now it looks like they're changing the format as well, though, which certainly doesn't help.

I already own Animal Man in the regular trades, no need to upgrade for me. I'll probably just get Saucer Country Vol. 2 and Sweet Tooth Vol. 6.

Question for you guys though, have any of you read Gone to Amerikay and or Beware the Creeper? I'm kind of curious in trying them but I know nothing about them at all. Are they any good?

Speaking of Morrison, I've never read much Invisibles. Do you smart people recommend it? I'm asking because my LCBS has that huge 1500+ pg Invisibles omni for sale. It weighs a shelf-cracking 10 lbs but I figure it's a good way to get everything in one shot.

Um, hell yes. Invisibles = Joy, pure and unfiltered.

    ....

It really is very good though. Not even my favorite MOrrison thing, but very, very good. I've heard some call it overrated, and perhaps in the context of Morrison's work, where it is always pointed at as the definitive piece, it is but overall I think it's perfectly placed.

Not really familiar with the writer for Beware the Creeper, but I might get that for Chiang.

I kind of prefer these books in HC though.

Yes, even though it wasn't my cup of tea, it's a must read.

Also, the excuse for my bad grammar and wording is...... I made this thread at 1 in the morning. I apologize y'all.

I thought the same i have no clue who the writer is of that Creeper mini but i like with i have read of Chiang specially in Human Targets, Gotham Central i prefer artist with different style of their own like him.

I prefer these books in HC too but backreading Animal Man,Sandman will be more cost effective in omnibus. Not like the regular trades of those comics with only 6 issues is very cheap.
