I cant speak for W12 but I didnt like UCS this week. It was not written or drawn bad in my opinion but I just didnt care. I thought this kind of but not really UU crossover was done seeign how the other books are on to the next arc. I would say save your money on this issue if you have not bought it yet.
As for UCU I liked this issue for the most part. I liked what Thor and Sue talked about and the last page was great and I hope it leads into something great . As for Cap I didnt care too much for it but it was interesting to see that not everything is well in the USA.
I'm refraining from actual hating on the Ultimates so I am just going to point out some flaws.
Cassie
Sue Storm (but thats because I hate her)
Hela? WTF? Didn't she die at the world tree. I mean die again? Didn't destroying the world tree mean that Hela realm is destroyed too?
Thor's:"ho,ho,ho."
Humprhies reference to Jay z and beyonce again.
Scorpios reveal was kinda lame.
Same stuff I have been complaining about for awhile now. Miles gets in a fight and simply zaps his way out of it, he actually takes some hits this time but that's okay he is apparently invulnerable and his bones are unbreakable. There is some confusion on my part about Cassie Lang, although that isn't really 100% USM fault. Every week it's Miles meets a bad guy, they start to fight and Miles takes them out with a zap, rinse and repeat.
1) Find a bad guy
2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!
OK, I read both comics, and it seems that either Cassie was still under mind control, or that was a different Giant Woman-- there's a whole brigade of women with growth powers, after all, and the hair color for that Giant Woman was a browner shade.
Either way, being manhandled by a 50-foot woman should give 14-year-old Miles some strange dreams...
